Help LouAnn Heal After a Devastating Accident

This past Sunday, July 20th, our beloved mom LouAnn was involved in a horrific head-on collision that left her with multiple serious injuries. She suffered a compound fracture to her femur, fractures in both lower legs, broken ribs (1–5 on her right side), a broken hand and thumb, and a severely bruised sternum.

Just one day after the accident, she underwent an intense 8-hour surgery to repair her legs, including the femur and lower leg fractures. She still faces additional surgeries ahead—most urgently for her hand—and a long road to recovery.

But by the grace of God, she is still with us. And not only is she with us—she is strong, resilient, and already showing incredible signs of healing just days after the crash.

Our family is so grateful she survived, but the reality is that her recovery will be long, difficult, and costly. Medical bills are quickly adding up, and everyday needs continue even as she remains in the hospital.

LouAnn has been through so much in such a short time. She lost our stepfather in October 2023, and has since been trying to navigate life on her own. After his passing, a few blessings allowed her to retire and live modestly on Social Security. But as you can imagine, this doesn’t come close to covering the expenses she now faces.
