On Tuesday, May 14th, Bree received the horrible news that her sweet fur baby, Lotus, has cancer in her leg. She had two options: starting Lotus on chemo or amputating her leg to prevent the cancer from spreading quicker.

The night before her oncologist appointment, Bree suspected Lotus’s leg might also be broken. The vet visit the next day confirmed her leg was in fact broken. After discussions with her oncologist, the decision was ultimately made to amputate her leg. This amputation surgery is emergent and scheduled for May 21st.
