I’m LLORA—musician, performer, and now, apparently, a reluctant “member” of the cancer club. Life threw a plot twist at me with a testicular cancer diagnosis.

Unfortunately I had to cancel all tour dates this month to take care of this. I have to get this surgery (unilateral orchiectomy) asap before it spreads, and luckily it seems it hasn’t yet. Apart from a few contract gigs, music is my full income, and I also need funds for living expenses while I recover. Chemo is hopefully not required, but is a possibility.

Playing shows, creating songs, building community through music—it’s what I have dedicated my life to. But now, before I can get back on stage, I need to handle this cancer situation with surgery and visits/treatment afterwards. I’m not one to ask for this kind of help easily, but here I am, reaching out to those who believe in me, my music, and maybe even in beating this thing with a bit of humor and resilience.

Every single donation, big or small, means everything to me. It’s not just helping cover medical costs—it’s a vote of confidence that I’ll be back, doing what I love most, with all of you there. And for that, I am beyond grateful.
