On Monday, January 6, 2025, LJ went to the ER with severe abdominal pains. After some testing, the doctors discovered that he had an abdominal obstruction. They tried to remove the obstruction with a less invasive procedure, but this attempt failed, which led to an emergent major abdominal surgery where they were able to successfully remove the obstruction. There were many people praying for LJ and we are so thankful that God answered our prayers. LJ has been in the hospital recovering since Monday and is doing well. The doctors are impressed by how well he is recovering and expect to be able to discharge him home tomorrow. While everything is going well with LJ's recovery we expect that he will still have a ways to go as he underwent major abdominal surgery. He will need more time to heal before he is able to return to work. Please help us raise some funds to pay for LJ's medical expenses from his surgery and hospital stay, after hospital care while he recovers and living expenses while he is out of work.
