Support Lisa's Battle with Tongue Cancer: Help with Surgery and Recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

On January 29th, our dear friend Lisa was diagnosed with stage 3 head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) with a tumor on her tongue. After much discussion with her medical team, it has been determined that Lisa will undergo surgery on February 24th to remove about half of her tongue and the lymph nodes on the left side of her neck. During this procedure, she will also undergo grafting to rebuild her tongue using muscles and arteries to restore as much function as possible.

While we remain hopeful that Lisa won't require radiation or chemotherapy, the road ahead will be long and challenging. Recovery will involve not only physical and speech therapy but also a period of adjustment as she regains her strength. We'd like to help ease the financial burden on her and her family.

Anyone who knows Lisa will tell you she’s a loving wife, mother, and friend. She has always been there for others, offering her warmth, kindness, and support. Her strength, positivity, and dedication to those she loves is inspiring.
