Hi, my name is Kennesha. I'm writing about my mom, Lisa Burks (Lele), a 47-year-old loving, caring, work-driven, passionate mom/daughter/sister/aunt. She recently, about 2 years ago, started experiencing bad abdominal pain. Like anyone else, she would take over-the-counter meds to help. It would literally help for about 30 minutes, and then she would be in pain again.

She started going to the hospital in GA, but they could never do anything to help. Then she moved to Tampa, FL with me, her daughter, where the pain continued. But she never stopped working and never stopped having faith that this pain would be removed. She started going to the hospital in Tampa, where they thought the problem was from multiple fibroids. But she could never have surgery and was given the runaround.

So then we moved, and she and my grandmother moved back to our hometown in Jacksonville, FL, where things got worse. She went to Baptist Hospital more than 4 times, where they kept denying her medication or even just some tests to see what was wrong. One day, I called my grandmother and asked where my mom was, and she was sitting on the toilet sleeping. No one could wake her up, and from there, she was hospitalized because of her kidneys. She would not wake up for 4 days; she could not talk or walk. She is currently on dialysis and cannot work!

She currently works for Home Depot, but her doctor has denied her short-term disability. . I pray and I ask for any donations towards my mom's health Anything will help, and I just thank you for reading her story.❤️
