Linda Morris is a long time resident of Defuniak Springs, Florida. She is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. You may know her from her many years of service working as a correctional officer at Walton Correctional Institution or maybe you know her from one of the many church functions she has attended with you over the years. No matter how you are acquainted with her, I'm sure you will agree that she is one of the most helpful, loving people you have ever known. She has been recognized for years for her unselfish, willingness to help those in need. She is now in a position where she could benefit from some help herself. On June 30, 2024, she was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), a fast spreading malignant cancer in her brain, which is said to be incurable. However, we are very much aware of the healing power of God. We are trusting in his will and praying that he sees fit to touch Linda and allow modern day treatments to completely heal her!
With all that being said, Linda and her husband, like many retirees, are on a very fixed income, and these cancer treatments are very expensive - even with insurance! Her copay for 1 treatment is $500, and there are 30 of them. In addition, it requires travel to Pensacola every day. So, gas is going to be a huge expense as well.
We covet your prayers and humbly ask you to donate funds for her care, if you are financially able.
We appreciate you taking the time to read about what she is going through. Love to all
