Support needed please for Light of God in Darkness charity mission, your contributions will directly fund the homeless and needy families, by buying food, buying bed frames and beddings, building houses for the needy families that are 10 miles or more outside of Kitale town in Western Kenya and their families to hear the Word of God.
This fund is multi-layered, and just the same as any other Church, so having necessary facilities for Light of God in Darkness church is a primary importance, as is addressing the EXTREME poverty of this place. Here there are no fancy western things. It is a battle to live, a battle to raise crops, because here everything is a battle.

Light of God in Darkness will need the following items:
- 100 Bibles in the Swahili Language
- 100 magnifying glasses
- Burial fees - funeral parlour fees and coffins and food at the funerals , it costs a lot to keep a body in a funeral parlour, and until their bill is paid, they won't release the body!
- 2 Steel doors to stop thieves stealing the chairs
- a solar panel electricity generator for the rainy season, plus lights
- food supplies for local missions
- associated things associated with running a permanent church on a daily and weekly basis.
- a petrol generator that can be locked up somewhere
- Instruments like Keyboards , Guitars, Drumkit and whatever else is needed to praise our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
- taxi rides to church and back are needed
- a car for the future sometime would be a great asset to deliver beddings to people, and wherever they are needed in the area
They are also planning to feed the orphans, visit the sick and elderly and attend to their needs, which may include various things.
The eductation for children is also essential, so these little children can thrive and flourish in a falling world which is against them. Nowhere is it like living in a third world country where struggles are everywhere and commonplace.
Not only is education important, but so is instruction in The Word. The Bible says as you all know. Proverbs 22:6-8 (NASB) says,
"Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he grows older he will not abandon it."
At Light of God in Darkness, "We imagine a world where everyone has a place to call home each day,we work to fight homelessness, helping families and individuals that are facing poverty."
So we beg you and appeal to you, in Love, please help and donate however big, however small! ALL donations are appreciated! I will try my best to thank all of you for your donations, but it may take a while to get to everyone. Thank you SO much for your gifts, prayers, love and kindness!
We are not doing this for ANY earthly gain but JUST to help out, and store our Treasures in Heaven, as Jesus says in Matthew 6:20
“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:”
Mike at For His Name's Sake helps out on behalf of Sister Leviticus Nalianya in Kitale Kenya, who is formerly from Nairobi. She will be a Pastor of this Church Plant I believe, too. Other pastors will come there to preach also, so there will not be a shortage of preachers thankfully. To God be ALL the Glory!! Amen!!

in Matthew 25:35-40 NASB, the words of Jesus Christ (on doing this kind of things and being a good servant of Christ our Lord)
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’"
Thank you so VERY much brothers and sisters in the Lord! Who knows how many we can lead to Christ, but we live in hope, as do Christians everywhere. ALL are welcome in the kingdom of God, whatever colour race or creed they may be all over this earth.
