Hi, my name is Lina, and I’m Cami’s daughter.

I’m making this fundraiser to help support my mom through one of the hardest times of her life. We don’t yet know what the road ahead looks like—what treatments, medications, or care she might need—but anything helps. Truly, anything. Every bit of support, prayer, and kindness means more than I can put into words.

On October 20th, 2025, my mom was taken to the hospital for what we thought were just blood clots in her right leg. We were hoping for something simple, something treatable. But instead, we received news that turned our entire world upside down—she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her liver and a mass in her brain.

She was released from the hospital on October 25th, after countless scans, tests, and a biopsy. Right now, she’s home and staying strong, surrounded by love, laughter, and faith. Even after hearing the unthinkable, she still smiles. She still jokes. She still finds a way to make us feel okay, even when she’s the one hurting. That’s just who she is.

My mom, Cami, is one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever known. She is the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into—the one who brings warmth, laughter, and comfort to everyone around her. She’s always been my sunshine on a stormy day, the one who can turn tears into laughter and pain into hope.

As a mother, she’s been everything. My best friend, my safe place, my biggest supporter. She has this rare gift of making everyone feel seen, loved, and valued. She gives without ever expecting anything in return. Even when life hits hard, she keeps shining—always finding something to be grateful for, always reminding the people she loves to keep going.

I always tease her for being too “sparkly”—because she really is. She’s like walking sunshine, always glowing with joy, rainbows, and butterflies. She’s creative, hilarious, compassionate, and stronger than she even realizes.

There aren’t enough words to describe how special she is or how much she means to me and everyone who knows her. My mom is love in human form. And now, it’s our turn to help lift her up, the way she’s lifted so many others.
