In the spirit of giving, I am asking you to donate and raise money to pay cancer care bills as well as household bills for this beautiful human being. Lidia Rocha, a home care nurse who compassionately and lovingly took care of my mother Valentina in her last years on earth, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in November 2024. Lidia is no longer working as all her time and energy is spent in coordinating her own care. Besides this, she has a 6-year-old daughter and a family to take care of. She is beginning an 8-hour, once-a-week chemotherapy treatment next week to shrink the tumor and then radiation. Her journey in this trying and difficult time is just beginning. As a cancer survivor myself, I am forever grateful to you for your act of kindness, compassion, and love. Any amount you donate is greatly appreciated and nothing is too small.
