Hi, my name is Lex, and I'm finally raising money to offset the cost of top surgery!

Even though I knew I was trans from a very young age, it has taken me many years of going in and out of the closet to finally get to where I am today. While I've been living as myself in my own home for a few years now, I've just now spent the last year slowly coming out to more of the people I know...and legally changing my name to the name I've used day to day for 18 years now.

Due to the state of my country, the timing of my transition is pretty inconvenient, but I've put in too much work on myself and come too far to turn back now. I want to finally live a life where I can feel at home in my body before I turn 40.

I'll be doing consults with surgeons this year and will hopefully have more updates soon. Insurance may cover a portion of the costs, but I want to make sure unexpected bills do not cause any delays.

The money will be going into a high yield savings to accrue until it is needed. Any extra will be used to pay off credit card medical debt acquired during my period of chronic illness.
