Hello, my name is Michelle! I am the aunt of Lexi. With her permission, I am coming on here to ask for any help possible to assist with bills and anything that may come from this hospital stay.

On October 20th, she went into the ER not feeling well and found out she had to have surgery to have her gallbladder removed. Pretty routine, or so we thought... She was released from the hospital thinking all was well, only to return still not feeling good! She started having issues with her liver, and they put a stent after finding a stone in her bile duct. She had that all fixed and was sent home again. A couple of days later, I took her back because she still felt off. They readmitted her because her lab levels were really high again with her liver. They removed the stent and then decided to do a liver biopsy. They were going to send her back home but decided to do a CAT scan before releasing her and realized she was bleeding internally. After further treatment, they realized they nicked an artery and had to go in and repair that, and she was placed in SICU. She is having further complications with her liver and is being flown to Dallas to see specialists there. With all that being said, she hasn't been able to work and has a family that she has to support. She does have a boyfriend who does work, but as we all know, it takes two, especially with four kids.
