Leslie was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and on August 13th, she underwent a pneumonectomy. Unfortunately, following the surgery, she developed infections that required two additional surgeries. The antibiotics used to treat these infections have led to kidney failure, and Leslie is now undergoing dialysis three times a week. While her doctors remain hopeful that her kidneys will mend and the infection will eventually clear, Leslie continues to fight in the ICU at St. Joseph Hospital.

For the past three weeks, Scott has been by her side, offering his unwavering support. The doctors anticipate Leslie will remain in the hospital for several more weeks, and during this time, both she and Scott have been unable to work. Along with the emotional and physical toll, they are now faced with the growing financial burden of medical bills.

This has been an incredibly difficult and draining journey for both of them, physically, emotionally, and financially. Any support, no matter how small, would be a tremendous blessing and bring them much-needed comfort during this challenging time.
