Out of pocket costs for surgery are estimated to be 4-5k (this does not factor in anesthesia fees and surgical center fees that we don’t find out for months after). Our beloved friend Len is getting top surgery! A monumental, life-affirming milestone on their journey.

As many of us know, gender-affirming care is deeply necessary and also deeply under-supported by our systems. Insurance doesn’t always cover the full cost. If you’re able, please consider giving what you can to help pay for the medical costs, wound care supplies, food, and missed work—every bit helps Len rest easier and recover with the peace they deserve. There are plenty of other ways to support that aren’t monetary, in the form of baked goods, company, a stick figure portrait of Len, etc.

Len is one of the most generous, lovable souls out there—sweet, thoughtful, always showing up for others, always holding space, ready with a hand or “hand job” ™️. They’ve poured so much into their community. Now it’s time for us to pour into them as they take this life-changing step toward living more freely and authentically in the world.
