UPDATE #2!!!!

I love this city!! Leah and her family are so thankful for your generosity! It's looking like for an uninsured patient, the average ambulance ride is $1,200; and even just her short treatment in the emergency room can be just shy of $3,000. I've updated the total amount to help alleviate some of these additional medical bills.

wow!!!!!!!! What love this community has show to our sweet Leah!!! After speaking to mom, it’s looking like the dental work will be about $5,000. I have upped the goal to hopefully alleviate some medical bills!!!

Hi everyone! As I'm sure you've heard by now, Leah was struck by a car today and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Along with some serious cuts and bruises, she lost 3 of her teeth. This campaign is to help make sure Leah's rent and utility bills are paid for the month of September while she gets back on her feet. As you all know and love Leah, she hates a handout and has worked so hard her whole life across this city, either by cooking for you or whipping up cocktails. (I literally had to beg her to let me post this.) Let her rest and process this correctly while she figures out the next steps.
