Laura is a happy 10-year-old. The past year, Laura has been in and out of the hospital for treatment of her NF1. She beat cancer, but unfortunately, has a tumor growth pushing on her trachea, jugular vein, and other important arteries. She requires an invasive surgery as she will need to be put on cardiac bypass. She will be sent to the Children’s Hospital in Houston as they are better fit for the procedure. We are also having to relocate closer to Austin as they are referring her to the children's hospital for future care. Unfortunately, her condition has progressed and the hospital here can no longer care for her. The cost of relocation and traveling for medical care are causing a financial strain on our family. We don’t like asking for help as we know times are tough. Unfortunately, we have found ourselves in a tough situation. If you can't donate, we ask if you can share.
