Laura Derosa, kind soul of the Lord!

She is 64 and has 5 children and 6 grandchildren. At the age of 53, Laura and her now-deceased husband took on the responsibility of Lee, her great-nephew, due to family issues when he was 3. She has had some help over the years raising Lee as a single auntie.

Moving forward, recently Laura was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Her main concern was Lee! “What happens to him if I can’t take care of him?” So selfless she is!

Family stepped in and has been supportive of Laura’s needs as well as Lee, her now-adopted great-nephew, who has called her mom for 11 years.

Laura has gone through invasive surgery, removing two nodules in each lung and removing her lymph nodes. She is cancer free now. However, she will be needing further treatments, do to complications during her surgery’s .Praying for future positive results. In the meantime, she has had complications with her voice box from the tube during surgery. She will need more surgery to fix this.

With all this going on, I’m asking for anything you can spare to help pay for any extra bills she cannot afford at this time. Thank you so much, and I will keep you posted as things progress.
