Donate to Laura Palomo's Healing Journey

A very close friend of mine, Laura Palomo, got in a severe car accident on her way home on 11/9/2024. She sustained several injuries, including a broken nose, six broken ribs, and the amputation of her right hand in the wreck. She was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, where she underwent a 12-hour surgery reattaching her hand. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful, and her right hand was surgically amputated two days later. She spent another week in the hospital following the surgery and was able to come home on 11/20/2024.
To know Laura is to love her. She and I have been friends since high school and have been through many ups and downs together. She is a wonderful mother to three beautiful children that adore her. Laura is one of the most hardworking, selfless women I know. She has a long road of recovery and obstacles ahead of her as she learns how to navigate this new journey in life. My goal is to try and help take any stress off of her that could interfere with her healing/recovery. Each and every donation made is greatly appreciated and will go directly to Laura and her children.
It is unknown right now when she will be able to return to work. With that being said, all donations will be put towards monthly utilities (rent, water, electric), groceries, children, and medical bills.
