Help Naa-lankai Launch Her Healthy Hair Salon and Hair Wellness and Beauty Supply Store in Ghana.

This is her story:

Hi, my name is Naa-Lankai, as I stand on the threshold of my 30th birthday, I'm reminded of the dreams that have fueled my passion since I was a little girl. Turning 30 on July 27th— is a milestone I’ve been reflecting on deeply. Growing up, I felt a little plump and awkward. I didn’t like to talk much, but from about five years old, I would ask people who came to visit my mom if I could do their hair? There's something about transforming long or short, knotty or slippery, unkempt or over processed hair into soft, healthy, manageable locks, or braids or cornrows or curly coils that brings me joy. When I discovered I had the gift of making others feel beautiful and confident, it made me feel useful. I found my purpose! That’s when I started to dream of owning my own hair salon and beauty supply store where people could find healthy hair products that truly worked for them.

And where I could put a smile on people’s faces when they looked in the mirror and liked themselves more because the look I created for them pleased and surprised them.

Now, as I step into this new chapter of life, I’m turning that dream into a reality: I’m working tirelessly to open a beauty supply store in Ghana by Christmas. I currently work about 13 hours a day, 6 days a week towards my dream! So I want every 30th birthday and Christmas present from family, loved ones and kind-hearted strangers out there who is willing to help make my dream come true; to send me a gift donation for my hair shop and salon.

This store will be more than a business—it will be a hub to promote self-love, and self expression. It will serve local stylists, and entrepreneurs who need reliable access to quality hair and beauty products. Too often, products are overpriced, unavailable, and/or low in quality. Products sent to my country are often so low in cheap ingredients; so full of toxins; they endanger the health of the consumer - sometimes not just damaging the hair, but the entire body! I want to change that. I want to bring in and also harvest quality products and give quality service. So please support me in this milestone endeavor.
