Hi, my name is Latondra and I have been diagnosed with CKD(Chronic Kidney Disease). I have been in and out of the hospital for a year up until this year in April the doctors decided that i needed to start dialysis. I started doing my dialysis 3 times a week for 3 hours a day a month ago. Now I am doing PD(Peritoneal Dialysis) from home, 7 days a week for 8 hours a day. I am in the process of being placed on the transplant list at UAB, and i have an appointment in July for testing. Due to the demand for treatments, I can no longer work and i am in urgent need of financial help with rent,utilities, etc. I have applied for Social Security benefits, but it is a lengthy process, and I am in need of assistance immediately. I would be truly appreciative of any help that I receive, whether big or small.
