On Saturday October 4th Prince got home to find his dog Lady laying on the floor unresponsive but breathing.

He got in an Uber and rushed her to the Veterinary Emergency Group in Williamsburg. He was unsure of what was wrong or if she would make it through the night.

She arrived with a very high fever (normal dog temperature is 99.5 - 102), her temperature was 105. After the vet ran a battery of tests on Lady Prince found out Lady had an infection in her liver and required an overnight stay at the vet. She was discharged the evening of Sunday October 5th and is currently home awaiting next steps in her treatment which include seeing an internal medicine doctor at VERG to get an abdominal ultrasound and possible future procedures (at least on going medications).

As of right now, costs have totaled close to $6000. That includes, all previous treatment over the weekend, plus her hospitalization overnight.

We have the referral, tomorrow an appointment with an internal internist will be made for upcoming treatment. This is an ongoing treatment plan, that will come with ongoing expenses.

We will keep everyone updated as to what the next steps are, as well as the health of our dear Lady.
