Hi, my name is Karl, and I'm hoping, with your help to raise relief funds for my close friend Kysusha, her daughter Marina, and grandaughter Stefania struggling in Ukraine.

As a friend of Kysusha, helping her survive is very important to me. This war has destroyed Kysusha’s small business and left her with no means to earn income. Kysusha’s son Vladek, and son-in-law Kolya, can't provide support because they were called to the Territorial Defense Battalions days after the war started. Vladek is fighting in defense of Kyiv, and Kolya is fighting in defense of Nikolaev. Kysusha's daughter, Marina, fled Nikolaev with her 2-year-old daughter Stefania and drove the 11 hours to Bila Tserkva to pick up her Mom, Kysusha, and flee to relative safety in Western Ukraine. They only had time to escape with a few clothes and some personal hygiene items, and everything else had to be left behind. After two weeks in Western Ukraine Kysusha and her family soon found out that due to the mass influx of refugees residing or passing through, humanitarian aid has become very limited and, on some days, non-existent.

Here's how your donations will help. Stores and businesses in Western Ukraine are not currently experiencing bombardments from the Russian Army and are open for business. With your donations, Kysusha would be able to provide her daughter and granddaughter with essential sustainment items such as diapers, clean drinking water, milk, juice, cold weather clothes, personal hygiene products, fuel, cooking oil, and most of all, food. So please donate what you can. Every dollar will be appreciated and used to ease some of the suffering Kysusha, and her family is experiencing.
