- Hi my name is Kyra Allison. I am making a GoFundMe because I am required to get surgery ASAP. I have a Pectus Excavatum, it is an indentation in the breastbone that reduces the amount of space for the lungs to expand and squeezes the heart. It causes me to have chest pain/and or pressure, it’s extremely difficult to exercise due to the consistent causing of shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, fatigue and heart murmurs. I’m embarrassed to even share that I have this to hundreds of people on Facebook but this is the only way to raise money to get this surgery done. I want to live my life to the fullest, finally being at peace within myself and pain-free. Thank you all who read and donate. Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover it with my HMO policy. But, even if it were to the procedure is very expensive.
