Hello everyone, my name is Kelsey, and I want to share our story during one of the hardest seasons of our lives.

On November 7th, 2025 I gave birth to our baby girl, Kynlee Strachan, at just 32 weeks via emergency C-section due to placental abruption. When Kynlee was born, she had no signs of life. Doctors and nurses performed CPR for 15 minutes before they were able to bring her back. Those moments changed our lives forever. Watching your child fight while navigating doctors, treatments, and uncertainty is something no parent is ever prepared for.

Shortly after, Kynlee was life-flighted to OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, where she remains in the NICU. We have been told we will likely be here for several months. She has a long and difficult road ahead, but we truly believe she is our miracle baby, and we are holding onto faith every single day.

As we focus on being by Kynlee’s side, the medical bills have begun to arrive. I am currently unable to work, and we are living on my husband’s income alone. Unfortunately, we do not qualify for SoonerCare or Medicaid, and while Kynlee does have insurance, we do not yet know how much will be covered. All funds raised will go strictly toward her medical expenses and hospital-related costs.
