A Very Personal Invitation: Join My Birthday Wish to Fund Health and Hope
To My Dear Friends, Colleagues, Family and Supporters,
My birthday is right around the corner on November 19, 2025, and instead of receiving presents, I am turning this celebration into a powerful fundraising event. I am asking you to join me in fulfilling a truly life-changing wish: support for my battle against Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
I am dedicated to my fight, which includes three essential hemodialysis treatments every week. While I remain positive, the mounting, continuous financial pressure has become overwhelming. Your generosity this birthday season will provide immediate relief and long-term hope.
My Critical Financial Requirements & Game-Changing Solution
I am seeking support for two intertwined goals that will secure both my health and my independence.
1. Immediate Medical & Operational Funds:
• Dialysis Treatment: Covering the weekly cost of my life- sustaining sessions. Hemodialysis sessions are already covered by Philhealth which I am very grateful that only minimal expenses are needed.
• Essential Medications & Care: Funding necessary prescriptions, frequent blood transfusions (2600Php per bag/ 5 bags per transfusion), and critical laboratory work. (e.g. 2decho,
ultrasound, Arterial Venous Duplex scan for blood clot, blood
chem and more…)
2. The Sustainable Birthday Goal: Transportation & Livelihood (The
Bajaj Tri-wheeler Project): I have an innovative plan to secure my
future: raising funds for a Bajaj RE Tri-wheeler (or similar specialized motorized tricycle). This is more than personal transport—it is a sustainable business plan:
• Safe Journeys: I guarantee reliable, safe, and covered transport to and from my own dialysis appointments rain or shine.
• A New Beginning: I will contract my services to other patients in need of medical transport, creating a flexible and essential source of income for myself, leveraging a common and practical local vehicle which can also be a big help to other patients for a lower cost of transportation. I can also use this vehicle as a food cart for a side hustle specially here in Matnog Sorsogon during typhoon season where there are lot of stranded passengers (trucking and transport) and possible customers.
Your contribution is the ultimate birthday gift—it’s an investment in my health, my dignity, and the future I am determined to build.
Spreading the word is a massive gift in itself. PLEASE SHARE! If you can’t pitch in, sharing this post is like giving me a thousand birthday hugs!
Thank you for celebrating my birthday by giving me the chance to keep fighting and to thrive.
With immense gratitude and hope,
Kuya Sai!
