We’re reaching out to ask for your help. Our sweet boy, Kovu, recently had a life threatening medical emergency that required urgent care and surgery. Late at night around 8:00 PM, we rushed him to the ER after he began vomiting, retching, and showing signs of pain and lethargy. We thought he might’ve just eaten something unusual, but it turned out to be far more serious.

Kovu had a urinary blockage. He had to stay overnight at the emergency hospital and was transferred the next morning for a Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery.

Thankfully, the surgery went well, and our sweet grumpy boy is now back home recovering with his brother and us, getting all the love, cuddles, and care he deserves.

This was Kovu’s third medical emergency, and he’s only 3 years old. We never imagined something like this would happen again so soon, and unfortunately, we were not financially prepared for this emergency.

After insurance and expected refunds, we’re facing $3,900.
