My name is Kim. My daughter and I are in need of help. I have been underemployed since March. I have made just enough to pay our rent and half of our phone bill. I work at a school and my job stops in the summer, so I won't get a check again until September. My car also broke down in March, so I have been walking everywhere. Thankfully, I was able to walk to work.

I am now interviewing for different positions that would be higher paying and allow us to pay all of our bills, but I have to have a car to get to the interviews and frankly to get hired. Most of the jobs that I am interviewing for are in different towns.

We are also short on rent. I am selling stuff and have paid a significant portion of my rent early but If we can't sell enough, we will be evicted. We appreciate any donations. Our rent is our most urgent need.
