Hey guys, it's Bree and CayLee. Our puppy, Kimchi, got into some medication that he shouldn't have gotten into and ingested it. He has a high heart rate, is lethargic, and very warm. We called poison control to ask them what to do; that cost us $100. They told us to go to the Emergency Vet here in Appleton. They gave him a shot to lower his heart rate. It went down a little, but they want to keep him between 24 and 48 hours to monitor him and give him IVs and fluids. The down payment was $1,500 and can go up to around $2,000. The vet seems positive he will be okay with the monitoring, but the fear is still there. We are barely scraping by as it is, and this took us out. So any help for our baby would be appreciated. He's such a good boy. Thank you for your help. It will be going towards his emergency vet bill.
