Help Support Kim Evers' Cancer Treatment Journey

My best friend, Kim Evers, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has already had a lumpectomy to remove the tumor, but they were unable to get all the cancer. The next step is a second surgery to remove more tissue and lymph nodes, followed by radiation. Kim is a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 2. Her youngest daughter is beginning her 2nd year of college.

Unfortunately, Kim’s medical insurance does not cover much of this. The surgeries are approximately $6,000 each and radiation therapy will be close to $10,000. Her insurance will pay a small percentage toward it but the remaining balance will be her responsibility.

I’m asking that all who know her, all who love her, or anyone that is in a position to help, please donate to this fund so she can focus on getting healthy. Together we can help lessen the financial burden and allow her to concentrate on getting well. The existing & upcoming medical expenses are too much for her to handle along with her regular monthly bills and tuition. Kim has been through so much in the last 5 years; including losing her beloved fiancé Mark Monroe, her two beautiful sisters, Karen and Kristine, her wonderful father Red, and her young nephew Ryan.
