Meet Kevin. I saw him lying on a couch left on the street, and he told me he sleeps there until sanitation picks it up. I told him I was “hungry,” and he offered me his only donut. He said he’d rather figure out how to get his next meal than see me hungry.

After giving him $500, he explained (after the video) he was left homeless after losing his apartment due to financial struggles.
