My name is Kelly and I'm a 48-year-old single mom. I've been driving buses for 25 years. I was just recently told by doctors that I have Lumbar Spondylosis, Lumbar Nerve Root Disorder, and Lumbosacral Radiculopathy due to Osteoarthritis of the Spine. I haven't been able to work since May. I have been dealing with back problems since 2014, but since my back has worsened, the usual Epidural Lumbar Injections didn't work. I have received 3 rounds of injections and I'm still in horrible pain.

I can't work and have depleted my savings. Now I'm facing bills that I can't handle due to not being able to work. The people that I usually would be able to call on for help have passed away. The co-pays and prescriptions don't stop.

I also have a 12-year-old that's about to go back to school and he needs school supplies and clothing. He's never wanted for anything because i always make it happen if i got it or not. I'm out of magic tricks. I'm about to lose my vehicle and everything I've worked for. I've tried to figure out any side hustles I could do, but I can't stand long, can't sit long, and can't walk far. It's looking like surgery is my next option. Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a very independent person and private person. I go through my trials and tribulations alone so this experience has been very humbling. I haven't been out of work since 2004 and that was a forced lay-off. I've been praying for a solution, but I find myself between a rock and a hard place.

I'm trying to stay afloat until unemployment or disability comes through. If anyone can find it in their heart to help me and my son out, I would be forever grateful. No amount is too small. Thanks to all my guardian angels in advance.
