Our niece, Kelcie, received life-changing news earlier this month. On August 3, 2025, she went to the ER for blood pressure changes and doctors discovered a brain tumor. She was admitted to MD Anderson that night, and on August 8th, she underwent surgery. By God’s grace, she was able to remove much more than expected — a blessing we are so thankful for. After surgery, we received the news that the tumor is a rare type of brain cancer, Grade 4.
Kelcie will begin six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation in Houston this week, followed by about a month to rest before starting chemo again for six months to a year. She will be staying in Houston during the next six weeks for treatment.
The financial burden of treatment, travel, and living expenses is heavy, and we are asking for support to help ease that load. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference. Most importantly, we ask for your prayers for healing, strength, and peace for Kelcie and her family.
We are so grateful for the love and support being shown during this journey.
