On May 17, 2024, my beloved fraternity brother, Keith Watts, faced a life-altering tragedy when he was struck by a reckless motorcycle driver while walking across the street in Ithaca, NY. This devastating accident has left Keith as a quadriplegic, including a spinal cord injury that has dramatically changed his life.

Keith is more than just a victim of this accident; he is a dedicated single father to his 10-year-old daughter, a loving son, a supportive brother, and a caring uncle. His strength and spirit have always been a beacon of light for those around him. Now, it is our turn to be that light for him in his time of need.

The road to recovery for Keith will be long and challenging. Despite having insurance, the coverage falls short of what is needed to fully support his journey. Keith requires a new, accessible living environment to accommodate his new needs, around-the-clock assistance to help him with daily activities, and extensive physical and mental therapy to aid in his recovery.
