Hello traveler, my name is Zed.

A few years ago, I realized I was trans and began my journey. A few months ago, I started to share some of my journey on my blog, ShyWitchZ.com (in addition to poetry and short fiction), as well as establishing a presence on other social media to use my skills to both be representation and help others in any way I can.

The last few years have been filled with plenty of challenges, and the future very well could hold the hardest ones yet. Which is part of why I'm asking for help in getting my car out of the shop.

On 3/18, driving home from work, my car broke down—smoke under the hood, fluids on the ground. I wrote some of this experience in my last full moon update (which was a bit late) as well as my new moon update which also announces this fundraiser. If you'd like more specifics about what's going on/how I'm doing personally, feel free to give either/both a read (or reach out, cause I'm a mostly open book).

But the short version? Needed a head gasket and exhaust repair. Unfortunately, getting a new vehicle is not in the cards for me right now, so my only option is to repair but affording the repair is not something I'll be able to do on my own short term. The head gasket itself is 3k. The isolation of the past couple of weeks is already impacting me, and the fear of needing to flee and being without a vehicle in the middle of a rural area utterly terrifies me.
