Hello everyone,

This has been the hardest year of my life. I lost my mom at the end of February. I moved my dad in with me in March. Sadly, I lost him too in April after a brief battle with liver cancer. On top of the grief, I had to walk away from a toxic job environment, and I've been doing everything I can to stay afloat while trying to build a better future.

I was hired at the post office and officially start on August 26th. Until then, I've been working at my old job at Papalenos just to keep income coming in. I've sold nearly everything I had of value—my guitar, my amp, my computer, even my PlayStation—in order to catch up on bills. Despite all of that, I've fallen behind on rent and face eviction on September 1st unless I can raise the money to cover it. I have four cats and three dogs to care for as well, so moving presents a huge problem for us all.

The only thing I have left to sell is my car, but that's the one thing I need in order to get to work once I start at the post office. Without it, I can't hold onto the opportunity that I've worked so hard to secure.

I'm not someone who finds it easy to ask for help, but I'm at a point where I truly need it. Any contribution—big or small—would make a world of difference and help me hold on until my new job begins.
