Hello, my name is Tasha Bates. I am a single mother of five and a grandson. My mother has been deceased for 30 years and my father for 20 years. I have been going through a financial struggle for 2 years now. I have been trying to be financially responsible for my family and myself. I lost my house, my car, and everything I owned. It has been a struggle trying to rebuild that foundation all over again.

I recently purchased a vehicle that I pay a note on. I had to put it in the shop, and it cost over $1,100 to get it out. I can't afford to get it out, pay the note, and the insurance. I've been trying to save to move, which has not been successful. I have school-age kids that play sports and are involved in extracurricular activities, which I take back and forth to school and events. I have a senior in high school who relies on me to take them to work, as well as myself.

I have a new job that I can't afford to lose due to no transportation, as well as my kids too. And I doordash as well to make ends meet. Someone suggested to me to start a GoFundMe to help get me back on track. So, I'm reaching out to ask for help so we won't lose our jobs and fall further behind.
