Donate to Keep Suleiman's Family Safe
Donation protected
My name is Christopher James Martin, a teacher from Quincy, MA. I'm collecting some money for my friend Suleiman Ibrahim Abu Raeda, 17, and his parents Iyad (44) and Ifaf (35). Suleiman and I met on instagram in 2024, and have gotten extremely close in the following months.
I live in Gaza with my family, and we are struggling every single day just to stay alive. My little brother is 14, my sister is 10, and my youngest brother is only 6 years old. We are a family of children trying to survive a war zone.
The situation here is beyond words. Every day we face hunger, fear, and danger. There is no stable access to food, clean water, or medicine. We sleep hungry, we wake up to the sound of drones and destruction, and we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
Prices of basic needs have become insanely high — if you can even find them. A bag of flour can cost $100, a box of vegetables $50, and even bottled water is scarce and overpriced. We are not asking for luxury — we are asking for survival.
This campaign is not just for me. It’s for my little siblings. I want to be able to feed them, protect them, and give them even the smallest bit of safety. Your donation can make a real difference in our lives — even a few dollars can help us eat today.
Please help us stay alive. Please share and donate. Every little bit counts.
Some relevant costs include:
$1000 for flour as of May 2025, canned food with preservatives $1500, cleaning materials $500, water $200, $450 for medicine, $400 for education, $350 for transportation, $800 for tent/ shelter material and $50 for rent each month.
His brother suffered an injury from the occupation and has been in recovery for months. Suleiman also suffers from hepatitis due to unclean drinking water, which causes him severe dizziness and stomach pain. His family lives in South Gaza, displaced near Khan Younus to the Al-Mawasi humanitarian area.
Donations connected to me will be transferred through PayPal.
