I am a Black American fem/genderqueer classical performing artist, writer, and cultural worker from NYC who lost my housing earlier this year. I have had seven addresses since April and am currently subletting in hopes of finding more stable housing by the end of the year. I have experienced a tremendous slowdown in income for Fall 2025 due to the recent governmental cuts to arts funding and am seeking more stable work in the meantime.

Juggling storage unit fees, several sublet rents, and daily living expenses has been extremely taxing on me, and I am seeking help in securing desperately needed funds to keep my storage unit from being sold and for rental payments.
