Support to Keep a 63y old man Safe and Housed

I am reaching out to ask for your help, Please find it in your heart to help a 63-year-old man facing a battle to avoid becoming homeless.

I am going through a health

crisis that is keeping me from doing my job as a handyman. I used to do all kinds of home repair until I got these two illnesses:

1. A very bad hernia (as you can see in the enclosed picture)

2. I have been diagnosed with glaucoma in my right eye.

Now, because of the hernia, I cannot carry things, even if they are of medium weight, and I cannot bend to pick things up. I even find it difficult to use the bathroom normally. As for glaucoma, the vision in my right eye is less than 30% and the left eye is about 70%.

Because of these illnesses, I cannot do the work as I used to do before. In home repair work, you must carry heavy things, and you must also use power tools, levels, and measuring tapes. For this reason, I was forced to work part-time and only do some small and light work. This work is not enough to cover the monthly expenses of rent, food, electricity, and telephone.

That's when I started using my savings until it ran out.

I want to go to the hospital to have surgery for the hernia, but I know that if I have the operation, I will not be able to do any work for a period of time I do not know if this period will be long or short.
