Donate to Keep Sonnie and Charlie Afloat

Hello beautiful people

My life long bestfriend / sibling and their Fiancé have been struggling honestly since covid, and it’s hard to watch because these two fun people are some hard workers just trying their best to make it like the rest of us. Somehow these two always come out okay with having to take on 3rd jobs despite Sonnie’s physical health. However, this time around given the lack of notice here, they’ve been completely blindsided and are in need of your help.

Sonnie has been working for Charleston Hemp Collective for a little over a year now, and has worked their way to the top, as store manager. The owners of this establishment had invested in renovations, came up with projected sales & store plans, and made it appear as though the business was on the rise to success based on meetings & sales. Although there’s a law coming in to effect October that will prevent the sale of certain items within the store, the owners had not expressed any concern that the store would close because of this.

This past Monday, they told my bestfriend that they “forgot” to re-sign the lease. This negligence is just not good enough - considering these folks will now have to rush for unemployment which as we all know takes time to receive. The employees at this store are one by one being ghosted by the owners with no direction.

I am looking for a $3,000 goal here for them that will cover a months worth of rent, groceries & cat food, and ongoing medication costs, and other bills like insurance and electric. This $3,000 is a general goal incase Sonnie cant find another job in the next few weeks, and so Charlie doesn’t have to somehow find a 4th job while Sonnie is also looking. Anything will help ❤️

These two lovely people are the first ones to help and befriend those in their community, especially those in the LGBTQIA+. They haven’t asked for anything like this but I need to help my family however I can.
