Donate to Keep Sam and Camryn in Their Home

Hello. My name is Sam and I live in Asheville with my roommate Camryn and two dogs, Joplin & Versailles.

While it pains me to have to reach out in this manner, it has become necessary to do so. In October of 2024 Hurricane Helen hit our city of Asheville, NC. This was devastating for many and the area will never be the same following this disaster.

While we were fortunate to have no loss of life, we had significant loss of income. Savings accounts were drained, and while job listings were plentiful, even the most entry level positions were not extending job offers.

At this time, $4,035 is owed to our landlord and our court date is on Monday, 3/24/2025. The last $1000 was pledged to be covered by a local charity organization, hence the $3,035 goal. While we have applied to several other organizations, they have been moving too slowly for our situation.

As of today, we are both employed, so we will not be falling further delinquent. However this does not remedy the immediate threat of eviction- which is why we have turned to crowd funding.
