Hi, I’m Rose. I’m 21 and my cat Steve, he’s 3. I have been in and out of a toxic adoptive household for the last 8 years now. Got kicked out for the last time and decided to never go back.

Since then, we were living out of my car while I worked as a travel phlebotomist up until my car got totaled on Nov 11, 2025. We then thought we had a safe, warm place to stay with someone who I thought was my friend, until he kicked us out 2 days after moving in. He was very verbally abusive, manipulative, and just wanted to use me for sexual acts. Because I refused, we are now homeless and have been homeless since then.

I am just looking to raise enough money to get another used car and get back on my feet. Anything helps, I’m desperate at this point. My baby is cold, I am cold. We are scared, stuck in the hood of Rochester where it’s very unsafe, and I refuse to give him up. He has terrible anxiety and has only ever known me his entire life. Please help
