Hi, as most of you know, my little sister Mindy was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease a few years ago, and she needs a double kidney transplant. She has been through hell since, doing dialysis at home through the night, every night. Being taken out of work and on social security, that covers her rent monthly and leaves her $43 left. She struggles for her personal needs as well as paying other bills. She can't receive any assistance besides SNAP, and that doesn't give her much as she doesn't have children. She recently had to shut her phone off due to not being able to even afford that and is a month behind on her rent for the first time in 10 years because she had to buy herself food and pay other necessities. Although she never wanted this and has done great keeping up on everything with the little she gets these past few years, it has come to a point where she needs a little help. I just feel I need to try and help her. I can't sit back and watch her lose any more than she already has and possibly fight an eviction in the near future. Anything anyone can donate would be a true blessing. As I know times are tough on most, I'm not expecting anyone to feel obligated to donate. Even a share is so much more appreciated than words can say.
