Our car, a 2004 Honda Accord, is on its last legs with a transmission that is due to go out any day now. The repairs on the car we currently have are more expensive than just getting a newer car. We literally cannot drive farther than 10 minutes, and afterwards cannot drive for an hour to let the car cool down enough to drive safely. Miles is heavily disabled and requires many disability devices to get around that our current car is too small to hold, meaning he has to stay home 90% of the time. There are doctors visits that Miles has to get to that we cannot get to, and Adrian cannot get a better job as the only jobs are too far for the current car to get to safely. We rely heavily on our transportation and we can barely afford our bills as is. If we lose our car and cannot replace it, we will end up homeless. We barely scraped by last year, and we're barely affording our bills right now. We've exhausted all over avenues, and we have no other options to get a car.
