Hello everyone. We hate to ask for help, but desperate times call for it. We are Maria and Steven, a newly married couple of just two years. We have four dogs who are our kids.

Maria has had endometriosis for almost fifteen years, undergoing six surgeries including a total hysterectomy as of March. As a result, Maria has been unable to work due to recovery as well as severe pelvic pain from the aftermath of this disease from all these years. Maria is actively looking for work, but her health is unpredictable, thus making it very difficult to find a stable job. On average, Maria goes to the emergency room/hospital several times a month.

In June, Steven lost his DOE job, and while he is working again, one salary doesn't cover the bills.

We are at risk of foreclosure at this point, and we desperately need to keep our home. If we cannot, our dogs are subject to go to a shelter, and they are the only thing keeping us going on a day-to-day basis.
