Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my wife and I. Recently, I was in a car accident that totaled my vehicle. Thankfully, I wasn’t seriously injured, but the wreck cost me more than just my car — I also lost my job due to no longer having reliable transportation and ongoing back issues that limit my work options. I had a spinal fusion performed last year and honestly, I’m in worst shape now than I was before the surgery.

Since the accident, we’ve been doing everything we can to stay afloat. I have been actively looking for work, but it’s been difficult to find a job that can accommodate my chronic back pain. I recently accepted a position at Walmart, unloading trucks and stocking. I don’t know if my back can handle that, but we desperately need the income. I haven’t been given a start date yet, but hopefully it’ll be within the next week, We’ve applied for help wherever we can, but the bills keep piling up, and we’re struggling just to cover the basics — rent, food, and gas.

We’re asking for support to help us get through this tough time. Any funds raised will go directly toward:

    •    Transportation (a used car or repairs)

    •    Rent and utilities

    •    Groceries and basic needs

    •    Medical care for my back

We are on the brink of being evicted from our apartment. But we’re not giving up — we just need a little help to get back on our feet.
