My name is Sumi and I rescue kittens in Los Angeles. Every day, people bring young kittens they find, some barely days old, to Los Angeles shelters in the hope they will be rescued there. Sadly there is not enough funding to give these kittens the life saving support they need around the clock, and if a foster can’t be found by the end of day, they will be euthanized. It’s a hard job, especially when there isn’t even enough support for the kittens while the shelter scrambles to find a foster. I’m hoping through this fundraiser to buy some good quality incubators for the very tiny and vulnerable kittens that arrive each day. Animal welfare is a community effort, and it won’t take much to dramatically improve the odds for these tiny kittens who suddenly don’t have the support of their mamas.
