Last Spring, Jordan & I were forced to move out of the building we were staying in because it was turned into transional housing for prisoners
we ended up in a near by motel because they didn’t require any deposits, or up front fees, but you know they get you with high rates to make up for that!! With inflation at an all time high, and the system being drained of any assistance other than Calfresh help with groceries we are happy to be surviving but wanting to do so much more. Unfortunately, I need to undergo some health tests before I can work.
Social Security has denied my special needs son twice, although their own doctor has approved him. That’s okay, we’re blessed that he has amazing talent & will be able to succeed in the future. It’s just a matter of time, experience & exposure. We are both very determined & full of faith which has carried us through and also helped us stay positive & find the good in each day. However without income, we have fallen behind on our rent and are facing homelessness soon. It has been extremely challenging as a single mother of a special needs son, but I have no regrets. He has turned into a fine young man with nice manners & a huge heart. We are not used to asking for help, rather the ones helping, but we could use your help to get through this challenging time. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
