My name is Laura and my dear friend of more than 20 years, Jill, desperately needs help.

In 2022, her daughter, Tiff, nearly died from an infection that came dangerously close to her brain due to an abscessed tooth. Since then, Jill, who is 64, has been caring for her daughter, whose recovery has been extremely difficult. In addition to the abscess, Tiff is battling extremely painful endometriosis and long COVID, among other ailments. This has left Tiff, at only 44, unable to work for almost 3 years after previously leading a very active life and maintaining gainful employment where she was very successful.

For the past 3 years, Jill has supported her daughter financially, physically, and emotionally while holding down part-time jobs and juggling caring for her elderly mother who has Alzheimer's and brother who is on disability.

Jill & Tiff have truly reached the end of their rope. Jill's car stopped working months ago and she has been driving her daughter's car.

Yesterday, on her way to start a new job, Tiff's car broke down a mile from work. And they have no money to fix it or purchase a new one.

Jill & Tiff literally need a hail mary win to keep going - Jill's employment depends solely on having transportation, and with no money and no way to get to work, she and Tiff will be evicted and potentially be on the street.

Please look into your hearts and help! In my calls and texts with Jill, I can feel the pain and desperation she feels to support Tiff and her family. And I know from firsthand experience with her that she is a fighter - but after 3 years, her fight is wearing thin.
