Help Jessica Fight Heart & Liver Failure, Stay in Her Car & Keep Her Belongings Safe

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers, My sister isn't someone who normally asks for help but as her little sister and best friend I am asking you to help save my sister.

I’m reaching out today to share the story of an incredible woman, Jessica, who is in desperate need of support. My sister has been battling serious health conditions since the age of 13. She has lived with lupus for most of her life, and more recently, she has been diagnosed with heart failure and liver failure.

For the past month, Jessica has been stuck in the hospital, undergoing numerous tests and surgeries as doctors work tirelessly to stabilize her condition. Despite her brave fight, her health challenges have left her unable to work, and she is now facing an even more daunting battle—keeping her car and her belongings safe.

Why She Needs Our Help:

As hard as it is to say, Jessica is currently homeless and has been living in her car for months. Her car is more than just a place to sleep; it’s her lifeline to the outside world, especially for her dialysis treatments. Without it, she would be unable to access the medical care she so desperately needs.

To make matters worse, she is at risk of losing both her car and the storage unit that holds the few belongings she has left. If she loses these, she won’t have a way to get to her medical appointments or a place to keep the things she holds dear.

How Your Support Can Make a Difference:

We are asking for your generosity to help my sister keep her car, her storage unit, and her belongings safe while she continues her fight for her health. She needs help paying for the following:

Car Payment: Without her car, she won’t be able to get to her essential medical treatments.

Storage Unit: She has minimal belongings, and losing her storage unit would mean losing the last pieces of stability she has left.

Medical Expenses: While in the hospital, she’s been undergoing surgery and extensive testing, which has racked up bills that aren’t fully covered by insurance.

Basic Needs: Your support will also go toward covering her basic needs—food, hygiene products, and other necessities that will help her while she fights to get better.
